Homes for the elderly- Children of all ages can visit homes for the elderly and sing or play games with the seniors. The people who live in these homes love the company, and small children can help out without even feeling like they are doing a service, because it can be so much fun! You and your child can go to a Home where you know someone, or just any assisted living facility that allows visitors.
Meals program- Churches in the Conejo Valley have a meals program which makes dinner for the needy at a different church every night. All are welcome to come and assist in preparing dinner. The locations for each day can be found on Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church's website below.

Meals on Wheels- This organization delivers food to homebound seniors, and although it does require a licensed adult to become the volunteer, children can accompany you on deliveries. Children are able to provide a service to their elders, while also gaining some good volunteer experience. There are also other ways for families to help with meals on wheels, and these can be found on the link below.
